Many representations have been fecewed from various Pensioners
Associations and Pensioners regarding their undrawn pension for more than 6 months
from their bank account Due to Covid-19. pensioners have nat been able to operate
their bank account for mare than 6 months on account of restnctions imposed on their
movements particularly for senior citizens.
In this regard, it instructed that the bank accounts of the pensioners which
have not been operated for more than 6 months should not be freezed due to Covid-19.
Instructions should be issued to all subordinates including the sub-Treasury to
fotiow the above instructions scrupulously.
