Applications are invited only through online mode for Teacher Eligibility Test, Paper - I and Paper - II for the year 2022 from the eligible candidates in Tamil Nadu



2022 ஆம் ஆண்டிற்காண ஆசிரியர் தகுதி தேர்வு தாள் 1 மற்றும் 2 ஆன அறிவிக்கை 07.03.2022 ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு வாரியத்தால் வெளியிடப்பட்டுள்ளது . மேற்கண்ட தேர்வுக்காண இணையவழி விண்ணப்பிக்க ஏதுவாக 14.03.2022 முதல் 13.04.2022 பிற்பகல் 5 மணிவரை கால அவகாசம் வழங்கப்படும் என ஆசிரியர் தேர்வு வாரியம் செய்தி வெளியிட்டுள்ளது .

(a) Minimum Educational Qualifications to write TNTET Paper-I (for classes I-V).

 
Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
                       Or
 Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002.
                    Or
 Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
                    Or
 Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)
                    Or
 Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
                    Or
 Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.,). 

Structure and Content of TNTET:

Number of questions : 150 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
Duration of Examination: 3 Hours
 


Minimum Educational Qualifications to write TNTET Paper- II (for classes VI-VIII).(Graduate teacher (Related subjects, Tamil, English and other than Tamil and English languages))


 Graduation and passed or appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).
                Or
 Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.).
                Or
 Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in final year of Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.), in accordance with the NCTEb(Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations.
                 Or
 Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.).
                Or
 Higher Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks andpassed or appearing in final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc. Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed.
                 Or
 Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of B.Ed. (Special Education).
                 Or
Any candidate having qualified B.Ed. programme, recognized by the NCTE is eligible to appear in TNTET. Moreover, as per existing TET guidelines circulated vide NCTE letter dated 11.02.2011, a person who is pursuing any of the teacher education courses (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI, as the case may be) specified in the NCTE Notification dated 23rd August 2010 is also qualified to appear in the TNTET.




 Examination Fee:

i. The Examination fee is Rs. 500/- for all the candidates except SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability. For SC, SCA, ST and Person with Disability Candidates, the examination fee is Rs. 250/-. Since the examination fee is different for various categories, candidates are advised to enter the correct Community / Person with Disability category. Once the payment is  made, it will not be refunded.
ii. Online payment to be made only through Payment Gateway. (Net banking/Credit Card / Debit Card)
iii. Offline mode of payment in any form such as Demand Draft / Postal order, etc. will not be accepted.
iv. The candidates, who want to appear for both Paper-I and Paper-II, should pay separately for both.
